As a public intellectual, I have been interviewed in numerous local and national media on endangered species protection, food studies, Polish American topics, gender issues, and popular culture. I have appeared in documentary films as well as newspapers such as the Chicago Tribune and The Christian Science Monitor. I have has served as a Curator for Museum Exhibitions and Consultant to arts organizations, documentarians, and grantees of the National Endowment for the Humanities, among others. I am also an award winning designer of educational multimedia and a published documentary photographer whose works have appeared in scholarly journals, newspapers, films, TV and popular magazines.
