Kordecki Monstrance
W. Grotke, 1672

The Kordecki Monstrance is the work of Warsaw goldsmith Waclaw Grotke, executed in 1672. It is contained in the Jasna Gora (Czestochowa) Treasury. In Catholicism, the Monstrance houses the consecrated Host (Blessed Sacrament) (thus its elegant materials and design) in Procession or for Benediction & Adoration.
